Volt Runner

Endless neon rooftops. Run, jump, dash and shoot across a procedurally generated cyberpunk skyline that never ends. VOLT RUNNER is a fast arcade platformer-shooter. Chain kills for a score multiplier, blow up barrels, and unlock five very different guns as the city gets meaner: a hitscan railgun that pierces everything, a nine-pellet shotgun with real knockback, an SMG that rips, and arcing grenades. Six enemy types hunt you on the rooftops - hovering sentry drones, ledge-aware corp gunners, leaping cyber hounds, spinning defence turrets, high-altitude bombers and a 330 HP brute with a point-blank shotgun. Kill them and they come apart: physics-driven gibs, blood spray, decals, shockwave rings, hitstop and screen shake. Everything is generated in-engine - the endless rooftops, the parallax city, and even the music and sound effects, which are synthesised at runtime. Runs at a locked 60 FPS in the browser. A/D to run, SPACE to jump (twice for a double jump), SHIFT or right mouse to dash, mouse to aim and fire, 1-5 or Q/E to switch weapons.
